Outstanding Features of the B-452
Network
The B-452 fits the needs of the network era. Considering the network connection, we developed the optional LAN board. The user can connect a number of units to the network. Furthermore, they can execute advanced labeling tasks such as distributed work management and unified data supervision. (Printer driver compatible with Windows 95/98 and windows NT)
Compact & High Quality
The printer is compact, yet has clear-cut print using a high density printhead. It has a footprint of 286 x 400 mm. The user can carry out most of the operations from the front panel and so make good use of space on both sides of the printer. A high density head of 300dpi has been installed into the printer to achieve high definition thermal transfer print. (Footprint without the label holder is 268 x 198mm).
Font Variation
Abundant fonts plus numerous bar codes and two-dimensional codes are built in to The B-452. 20 bit map fonts & 7 outline fonts are standard, most common bar codes and 4 kinds of two-dimensional codes, and (optional) 20 true type fonts. Size and layout can be managed freely by using the free format system. Exclusively intrinsic labels can be created by combining the enlarging of characters and reversal functions.
Ease of Access
The unit is easily maintained and the paper and ribbons can be replaced quickly. Day to day operation is user-friendly with easy maintenance. Paper jams are cleared easily. Exchanging paper and ribbons is a breeze with the pop-up ribbon (head) mechanism.
Printing
The B-452 uses diverse media. The paper size is variable from 47 to 114mm width and 15 to 997mm length (print length: 15 to 500mm). It prints various cards, price tags, stock labels, article labels, rating labels and tickets. The optional cutter module and the peel-off module extend the functionality to variable length cutting and on-demand printing.
Keyboard
Print from a network with the special keyboard. The KB-80 plays the role of the input unit when connected to a network. Programming is necessary.
